i go to NMU, got on the site from n8bronco, might make a trip down this summer to visit him and wheel.  got a couple trips planned to the parks down there and would be cool to meet you guys.  always willing to lead a run up here, i gew up in marquette so i know almost all the trails. 

i wheel a 1986 suzuki samurai, spring over with scout leafs, 34-9.50 tsl's, tracker 5.13 gears in my sammi housings, and a bad ass custom high steer.

you running the tracker motor or the stocker ?

stock motor with a couple bolt ons.  ive been thinking about various motor swaps though. wanna do something other than the tracker 1.6...i was thinking either toyota 4cylinder or volkswagon turbo diesel

id vote for turbo diesel - bomb proof and all kinds of torque when you play with the boost.

i had the 1.6 with a webber and a header in my old rig, nothing special but it worked fine. i was looking into a diesel back then but wasnt coming up with much in terms of older donor vehicals, and the newer ones (tdi) were big bucks and hella complicated in the electrical department.
