93 Grand Cherokee, I-6 4.0L, AW4 tranny

My Radiator developed a crack at the inlet. I got a couple of donner radiators I'm going to see if they fit. My question is; What (in any) else should I look at replacing while I have the radiator out?

Thermotat  for sure and maybe water pump if it has never been changed and check hoses for age checking(cracking), don't want to tear it apart later if you don't have to

So, thermostat, inlet&outlet hoses, water pump, and to top it off a new fan belt (I saw it had some cracking):D

have you ever changed a radiator in a grand? not fun, i just did one last month, its easier to remove the p/s gear box from the unibody and push it over towards the engine, then pull the radiator out, just my 2cents

I'm looking at this;

Ready-Rad Radiator Part No. 431348 (I looked this up and they listed it for 154.00- napa part)

I know it has a plastic tank, but I have a code for advance auto that will take 35 bucks off and I can't really do 200 bucks or more for a all metal rad right now. But with the money saved with the rad I might be able to replace my header panel.:D

Yes, I found a brand new one on Amazon for 49.00. I tried LKQ here in Holland but it seems thats a fav for people to bust up. Jeep could have no body damage but people will bust up the header panel for some reason....weird.

Got my new rad in ( kinda of a pain but not to bad). Still have some little things to do and then I can put new antifreeze (and water wetter) in her and I'll be good to go.

The GC is running again and I'll be bringing her on the "Color Tour". I all ready know she's ugly but she's a good rig.
