We are getting close now....Relay for Life is next week Friday/Saturday, August 12-13 10 am to 10 am at the Allegan County Fairgrounds.  I am asking for as many as possible to come out to our campsite at Relay, I am not concerned with having somebody walking all the time, I don't care if you don't walk a lap at all...just come down and show Allegan County who the ACES are.  Our theme is "Proud to be an American" and we are decorating in all red/white and blue.  If you have anything cool to add for decorating please let me know.  We are judged on decorating and I would love to see us do well.  As far as I know, we are the only team going with this type of theme.  Please wear a shirt with a flag on it or some other design which fits with the theme.   I am also looking for small trinkets to use as game prizes.  Thank you to all who have supported our Relay for Life team and this very worthy cause.  Hope to see you all there.   

I cannot thank Donna enough for running/organizing this single handedly !!!   I will be there to support Aces as much as i can. I am working friday till 5 but my daughters Mallory and Megan will be down there in the afternoon walking. I will be there with Mark during the evening.  PLEASE COME SUPPORT this great cause.  We have all been touched at sometime by cancer!!!  Please come show your support and help us one step at a time in fighting, remembering and encouraging all with/had cancer !!!!!!

Donna and I will be there tonight setting up our site. We will be located near where the Community tent is normally set up during the fair, right near where the turkey leg guy sets up. If anybody wants to come down and help out, that would be great. Stop by and offer some support and/or walk some laps. The event starts Friday morning at 10AM and concludes Saturday at 10 AM. There is a team spirit lap starting at 3PM friday. Come on out and help show what the ACES are all about. At 730PM Friday is the Miss-ter relay contest. I am told Mark is going to dress up in a dress again. I think I may as well. Talk about sexy. Luminaria bags are to be lit at 10PM. This is always a touching event. There are different evnts every hour.

Donna has put a lot of work into this and would really like to see a lot of support from the ACES. Come on out for a while. There is NO entrance fee to the fair grounds for this event.

Thanks for organizing this for us Donna.  It was a great way to show suppost for those who have fought & lost this battle as well as support for those who have beat it and for the ones who are battling now and in the future until this disease is beaten by ALL
