Drivers Meeting(Mandatory) - 10 AM

Pig Roast Lunch - 1 PM

                 - Dish to pass is required

                 - Bring your own Non-alcoholic beverages (none provided) - Please try to avoid anything in a Glass bottle - Thanks

This is a fun event and all ACES 4X4 members are welcome to attend.  Hope to see you all there

*Tech Inspection -

For the most part if your vehicle is deemed safe for use on state roads (or ACES Events)  then you will have nothing to wory about.

The big items we look for are -

1) Battery held Securely - Loose battery mounts lead to all sorts of problems, causing acid leaks and even FIRES.

2) Hydraulic brakes work - All 4 corners must have brakes.

3) Tow points - Front and Rear are MANDATORY - must also designated for the purpose of recovery.  This means that if the item you want to attach a strap to serves any other purpose on the vehicle (suspension, steering, body mount, ect.) It is NOT a tow point.  This is for the safety of yourself and others, and preserving the functionality or your vehicle.

Anyone not too busy to attend??? 

1 thing to add about the Tech/Safety Inspection - A bungee cord DOES NOT constitute a secure method of battery retention.  I assume though that most of you have the battery in the stock tray, which is more than good.

2 bungee coards? he he he!! I am not %100, but I think I will be there.
