My name is chad and I live in Plainwell. I have been wheeling for around 15 years now. The past two years hasn't been as much because of live (had kids, married, bought a place). I just bought a 1997 xj which 3 days after I got it I started to modify it. I wanted to keep it practical being it is going to be my daliy driver/weekend offroader. Right now I have a 3 inch x-series suspension lift from Rough Country, 31 inch Dick Cepek Crushers (which kick some serious a$# by the way) wrapped around some Mickey Thompson wheels (not the classic II, but the original). I have a long list of things that are going to be done to it as you can imagine. If any members have a bigger XK I would love to pick your brain about your set up, being I am wanting to go to a 4.5 inch kit. I am just wanting to know any problems that you may have had, and what you reccommend (transfer case drop kit, SYE, ect...) I look forward to getting to know all you.
